Heart Centered Therapy (HCT)

“Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart.  Who looks outside, dreams.  Who looks inside, awakens.”  Carl Gustav Jung

HCT is a dialoguing technique that embodies profound insight into the psychology of the human heart. HCT recognizes that when a person is unable to assimilate a traumatic event or situation, and process their thoughts and emotions, the undigested emotion will embody itself somewhere inside the body.  Through the conscious use of imagery and a simple, non-invasive step-by-step dialogue process, and by connecting with the voice of the heart, you are empowered to address your symptoms and release belief patterns that prevent you from moving on – while gaining insight, compassion and health.  HCT creates a loving and caring holding space for addressing these deep issues.  It integrates the client-centered approach developed by Carl Rogers, of reformulating what is said in the form of a question without changing the content or the meaning, without judging, evaluating, or expressing approval or disapproval.  In this way you are entrusted and empowered with the possibility of finding your own answers and to believe in your own ability to heal.  The “Heart of Questioning” is the Art of Heart-Centered Therapy.  HCT is gentle and respectful, non-intrusive and non-directive.  Its approach brings about reintegration and healing – without reliving the trauma.

Body-Centered Dialogue

Behind each symptom or issue is a hidden and disowned ‘self’.  We all have many different selves.  This is normal.   Some of these ‘selves’ are primary selves and help us to survive and function in life. Our disowned selves are parts of ourselves that we do not acknowledge and do not allow to participate in our daily lives.  This creates an energetic imbalance and can result in physical, emotional, mental or behavioral ‘symptoms’.   Symptoms are an expression of a disowned self that is tugging at your sleeve for recognition. Voice Dialogue is a simple yet powerful method of speaking with the diverse selves within us. These selves express as a continuous stream of energy moving through us, shaping our bodies and our experience at all times. The Voice Dialogue process is gentle, safe, grounded and fun, and it supports any form of inner work with a strong, reliable hand. It is an excellent tool for therapists to complement their work with clients, and it is profoundly useful as a tool for self exploration.
