experience the difference...

The practice of yoga at Beyond Postures is the same yet different from a regular yoga class.  All the usual benefits of strengthening and stretching, stimulating the immune system, opening joints, and improved balance are there. Additionally, Beyond Postures yoga classes are grounded in mindfulness. approach to yoga.  Each class is suitable for any level of experience  because it is taught in a safe way where you are in charge of where you are in each posture.  In this way, you can find the alignment, strength and flexibility that acknowledges and honors your own unique needs and intentions. This experience of self-sensing and self-awareness becomes a tool that is carried into daily life.  Yoga can be a powerful and transforming personal practice that supports connecting with and being present to your own body and your own true experience.

Dianne is a dual certified experienced and nationally registered (ERYT) yoga teacher in the styles of Ahimsa/Kripalu and Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy. She has studied.and brings aspects of Anusara, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Satyananda, Sivannanda and Somatic yoga, and integrates concepts of body/nerological (Feldenkrais) patterning, marma/acupressure points, Meridian/Sen (energy lines) and the mind-body concepts of mindfullness, here and now, presence, inner focusing, and nonjudgmental awareness into her approach and class structures. Her classes invite you to be in harmonious relationship with your body, mind, emotions, energy, and spirit. They are gentle yet firm and always honor where you are.
